The majestic Reeks provide amazing scenic cycling routes, from leisurely jaunts around Cromane to the ultimate challenge of the Ring of the Reeks over three of Ireland’s highest mountain passes.
RING OF THE REEKS
Starting in Killorglin, this 90km circular journey takes on three incredible, lung-busting climbs: the Ballaghbeama Gap, Moll’s Gap and The Gap of Dunloe.
OISIN PASS & ATLANTIC CRUISE
Take on the Ballaghasheen Pass, the highest road climb in the Reeks District, before taking in the wild Atlantic on a 10km stretch of coastal road.
THE TWO BALLAGHS
Combine the Ring of the Reeks with the Oisin Pass route over the Ballaghasheen Pass for the ultimate Reeks District cycling route.
CROMANE MUSSELS & BOG ROADS
Leave the lycra and cleats at home for this gentle cycle out to Cromane Point and back, passing mussels beds and Lake Yganavan on the way.
