Kerry Airport in Farranfore is just 15 minutes from the Reeks District and operates flights from Dublin, London and other European cities. International visitors can fly into one of Ireland's three major airports in Cork, Shannon or Dublin.
Iarnród Éireann operates a regular train service to Kerry from Dublin or Cork. You can take the train to nearby Tralee and then make your way to the Reeks District by bus.
The Reeks District is less than 2 hours from Cork and only 4 hours from Dublin, making it ideal for staycations and weekend breaks. Being situated right in the middle of Killarney, Dingle and the Iveragh Peninsula means that the Reeks District is the perfect place to base yourself for touring Kerry.
You can travel to the Reeks District via Bus Éireann and Dublin Coach. Timetables can be found online. Bus Éireann also operates routes between towns in the Reeks District.
Take the train to Limerick Junction and change in Mallow for Tralee.
From Dublin, follow the M7 to Limerick then take N21 south. In Farranfore, take R561 to the Ring of Kerry Road (N70) until you reach Killorglin..
From Dublin Airport or Burq Quay, take the coach to Tralee. From there, take a Bus Éireann bus to Killorglin..
Take the train to Limerick Junction and change in Mallow for Tralee.
From Limerick take N21 south to Farranfore, then take R561 to the Ring of Kerry Road (N70).
Dublin Coach: Take the coach from Arthur’s Quay in Limerick to Tralee. From there, take a Bus Éireann bus to Killorglin.
Iarnród Éireann operates a regular train service to Tralee from Cork’s Kent Station.
From Cork, take N22 to Killarney then take N72 to Killorglin.
Bus Éireann: Take the bus from Parnell Place Station in Cork to Killarney and change for Killorglin.
Take the train from Plunket Station, Waterford to Limerick Junction and change in Mallow for Tralee.
From Waterford, take N24 to Cahir. Take N73 to Mallow, then take N72 to Killorglin.
Bus Éireann: From Waterford Bus Station, travel to Cork and change for Killarney and then change for Killorglin.
Take the train to Dublin, Heuston and then Tralee.
From Kilkenny, take M8 to Mitchellstown. Get on N73 to Mallow, then take N72 to Killorglin..
Dublin Coach: From MacDonagh Junction, Kilkenny take the coach to Tralee.
