Pat returned to his native Glencar after a career abroad and refurbished these cottages himself.
The experience
Ellie's Cottage is perfect for a romantic break or a family get-away and provides a homely atmosphere to relax after being out in nature. Ellie's Cottage is off the beaten path in the hills of Glencar near the Kerry Way walking trail, Caragh Lake and Lickeen Wood. Although set in a remote location, it is spacious and fully equipped for a self-catering holiday complete with a kitchen, patio area and even a firepit. The cottage is finished with luxurious fittings and picture windows that frame views of MacGillycuddy's Reeks.
