Kayak surfing on Rossbeigh

The Reeks District has a number of surfing options for kayakers along the Wild Atlantic Way, including Inch Beach on the northern side of Dingle Bay and Rossbeigh Beach on the southern side. Both provide shallow beach breaks on golden sand.

Both are great options and have toilets and parking, but Rossbeigh is a good choice thanks to its proximity to the village of Glenbeigh which offers a good selection of bars and restaurants. Surf conditions vary but are generally friendly to all abilities. The quality improves with offshore winds and a good Atlantic swell.

There is no better feeling than conquering the waves of the Wild Atlantic Ocean. Being active in its clean crisp waters is truly invigorating.
