Aerial Yoga at Aloha House
For a very different way to relax, why not try aerial yoga in Aloha House’s specially adapted studio overlooking the River Laune as it flows through the heart of Killorglin?
In an aerial yoga class, a silk hammock is used to support the poses and flows of traditional yoga. While people may think it is more challenging than traditional yoga, the hammock could actually assist you to get into postures that are not possible on a mat.
Aerial inversions are known for their many benefits, including decompression of the spine, and detoxification of the organs and lymphatic system.
Weekly classes are offered for both beginners and the more advanced. Private one-on-one or group sessions are also available on request.
Teacher, Louise McEvoy, is a Yoga Alliance certified trainer of Yoga and Prenatal Yoga since 2010. She also has certifications in Mouna Aerial Yoga (Switzerland 2018) and Aerial Yoga (Letsflyoga 2019).
