Bridia Valley

* Freedom to breathe

BRIDIA VALLEY

This remote valley is home to ancient paths that have been travelled for more than 5,000 years and form part of the Kerry Way long-distance trail.

Ancient paths

The paths of the Bridia Valley follow the banks of the Caragh River and ancient farming trails as they outline this picturesque Kerry Way setting.

Outstanding views

This isolated pocket of Ireland offers gorgeous views over pasture lands, the River Caragh and the surrounding Reeks District.

Cookies and Ice Cream

The Cooky Monster Cafe is a surprising find in such a remote location, but tired hikers will be happy for the chance to enjoy homemade ice cream.

Trout fishing

The Caragh River originates from several sources, including the Bridia Valley's Curraghmore Lake which has good brown trout fishing.
