Highest Mountains

* Freedom to roam

Walk, hike or climb around the Roof of Ireland where you'll find the country's three highest peaks: Carrauntoohil, Beenkeragh and Caher.

Towering over the Reeks District at 1,039m, iconic Carrauntoohil has several routes to the summit where the views over the region are magnificent.

At 835m, Caherconree is the second-highest of the Slieve Mish Mountains on the Dingle Peninsula and home to an ancient stone promontory fort.

Offering views of the mountains surrounding Coomasaharn Lake and over to Dingle, 275m Curra Hill is part of the Glenbeigh Horseshoe walking trail.

Often called 'the gate-keeper to Carrauntoohil', Beenkeragh is Ireland's second highest mountain at 1,008m.
