Children will love walking among the winding paths through Faha Wood where they can discover the homes of little people in the Fairy Forest.

Walk the old tracks

Part of the Glenbeigh Forest Walk takes in the old Great Southern & Western Railway Farranfore to Valentia Line, which ran from 1892 to 1960.

Rare wildlife

The forest is home to a variety of wildlife including rare red squirrels, foxes, badgers and woodcock.

Part of the Kerry Way

Glenbeigh marks the start of the Glenbeigh-Mountain stage of the famed Kerry Way walking route that passes through the forest.
