Katie, the main researcher, is passionate about genealogy; she emigrated from Canada to Ireland in 2010 in a effort to connect with her Irish heritage. Her great grandmother left Killorglin at the age of 17 in 1926 in search of more opportunities. Three generations later Katie returned to her great grandmother’s home town and she now calls Killorglin home.
