Pat returned to his native Glencar after a career abroad and refurbished these cottages himself.
The experience
Maggie's Cottage is perfect for a family get-away and provides a homely space to relax after being out in nature. Maggie's Cottage is off the beaten path in the hills of Glencar but offers everything you need to enjoy an outdoor holiday in comfort. The entranceway is decorated with a shelf of ware belonging to the original owners when it was a small family home in times past. You can still sense the warmth of a family home in details like vintage-style windows or a half-door in the bedroom, but the cottage has been expanded to provide plenty of space and every modern convenience.
